**Put's on best perky stewardess voice**
I'd like to thank you all for visiting Copper's Wife's blog. At this moment during your visit I'd like to ask that everyone remain calm and seated as I announce to you that this blog has been hijacked. For the next little bit it will be under the control of Corin and The Ex Goat Milker as they veer this site off course to wish their mom a VERY happy 50th birthday.
Their demands are quite simple and your course will return to it's original destination shortly. They ask only that you please leave a comment under this post. Their goal is for Copper's Wife to have at least 1 comment for each year of her life posted here. For those of you who hang around quietly in the back, commenting does require a xanga account, but it's quick and free. You can always shut it down immediately after you comment.
We ask that their demands be met because... well... You just never know what might happen if you don't meet the demands of a hijacker!!!
Until then, please enjoy the birthday posts below!
**Update**
**Clearing throat** **Raising eyebrow** **Reaching for Mom's wooden spoon** (see #32 in Dani's list of 50)
We need at least 28 more comments! Don't make the hijackers come after you!

Happy birthday my love  Thank you for sharing your smiling face with me for the majority of your life. You are a blessing to your family, and we know it. Let's board that Love Boat and head off into the sunset. :sunny:
Your loving husband,

Huzzah! What a day to celebrate! You are officially, in Roman numerals, "L". In binary 50 would look like this: 110010. How many of us can say that? 50 would also be the atomic number for tin and is also the fifth magic number in physics. There are fifty chapters in the book of Genesis and it is the traditional number of years in a jubilee period. The TV show Hawaii Five-O is so called because Hawaii is the 50th state. (Now I *know* you could not have lived to 51 without that particular bit of information!)
In French: cinquante, Dutch: vijftig, Finnish: viisikymmentä (which looks elvish to me), Icelandic: fimmtíu, Irish: caoga, Limburgish: vieftig (who knew?!), Latin: quinquaginta, Russian: пятьдесят (Gesundheit!), Spanish: cincuenta, Swahili: hamsini, and finally one we can all understand,Chinese: 五十 .
So really, it is easy to see that the whole world celebrates with you--as do we. So Happy 50th Birthday!!
Warmly,
Kate
Happy Birthday Copperwife! May the Lord continue to bless you in your next 50 years!

PS And yes, I would love a cup of tea served in that Country Rose pattern by Royal Albert :)
Your family sure loves you! :heartbeat:

Okay...that moment at the end of the movie has to be when Shadow comes out of the woods, limping, then starts running for "his boy". Then chance shouts out, "turkey, turkey, turkey", which is heard a lot at our house at Thanksgiving. The scene with Shadow sure causes a run on Kleenex at my home. :)
Fifty is a wonderful age, I recently passed it myself. At fifty, you just get better and better. :goodjob:
:spinning:HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope your day was a blast!:spinning:
